

| Dumont Knight's Restore the Shore Charity Events |
Hello Everyone: Yes, we are at it again! This Year, as you can plainly see, we have decided to take our charity event in a different direction. All charities are worthwhile and none is any more deserving than another. This year the Dumont Knights and the ABA have decided that tragedy has hit us at home, LITERALLY!! We are sure that everyone is aware of the destruction Hurricane Sandy leveled on all of New Jersey and specifically the Jersey Shore. (And not the TV Show. That might have been welcomed by many) All of us have spent some quality, and maybe some not so quality times down the shore. Anywhere from Sandy Hook to Seaside to Atlantic City to Cape May. Some of the most affected areas aren't the places we have come to know and love but the small residential towns that are almost non-existent now. No matter what your memories are of the Jersey Shore, we hope you will join us in trying to do our little part in helping out those that were a lot less fortunate than us during that trying time. We are doing essentially the same thing as last year. Just Our Charity Has Changed!!! All Proceeds will go to help the RESTORE THE SHORE CAMPAIGN. It's a trilogy of events... PART 1: Bar Knight Out!!! Come join us on Friday Night April 12th at THE BALCONY in Carlstadt, NJ located at 491 Broad Street. Doors open at 8PM $10 donation at the door -One Free drink -Free snacks -Multiple DJs including our favorite DJ JASON K 50-50 raffle PART 2: Day of Baseball at Yogi Berra Stadium Campus of Montclair State University Sunday, June 9, 2013 $10 Admission for adults and $5 for kids Games played from 8am-8pm. Ask your favorite ABA player for their game times. 50-50 Raffle, Concession Stand, Magician Mark Wurst, Face Painting and many other children's activities. Your admission also gets you a reduced admission to the Yogi Berra Museum!!! PART 3: CASINO NIGHT/POKER TOURNEY/TRICKY TRAY Date: To Be Announced (but sometime in October) Place: To Be Announced Price: To Be Announced We got a lot of planning to do!!! But we do know that we will have plenty of Free Food, Free Booze and Free Fun!! For those of you that are familiar with this website from past charity events....welcome back!! For those of you new to this site..... Welcome!! Participation in all three parts of our charity event is not NECESSARY to help us .....but anyway that you can help us out would be greatly appreciated. Participate in one, two or three days....it's up to you!!! We also have a few local businesses that have agreed to help us out in varying ways. See our links page for there websites and how they are helping us. We are also looking for corporate, personal and local business sponsors to aid us in putting on the best charity event possible. We will accept donations of any kind to aid the charity. |
